Ashurst today announces the appointment of Stephen Lloyd as global head
of the corporate practice with Simon Beddow as European managing
partner of corporate. Stephen Lloyd replaces Adrian Clark who is stepping down after six years in the role to concentrate
more on client work.
Stephen Lloyd became a partner in 2003 and has been managing
partner of corporate in London since 2009. Simon Beddow became a
partner in 1998 and was appointed managing partner in Germany in
2005 before returning to London in 2009.
Commenting, Stephen Lloyd said:
"I look forward to the challenge of heading the practice, which
continues to perform strongly relative to the market. Over recent
years we have had some great successes with investment banks,
private equity and international corporates. I am very confident
that the practice will go from strength to strength."
Simon Beddow added:
"Having worked in our offices in Germany and Paris, I look forward
to continuing my involvement with our continental offices. We have
a great team in place and helping to steer corporate through this
next stage in its development is an exciting opportunity."
