Ashurst, one of Australia's leading global law firms, continues to
actively anticipate client demand and recognise opportunities for
growth with the appointment of two outstanding legal practitioners
to its partnership.
The appointment of Rebecca
Field, Projects, in Perth and Alice Muhlebach, Competition, in
Melbourne, now brings the total number of new promotions to the
partnership at the start of the 2012/13 financial year to 12 - six
of whom are women. This calendar year Ashurst has made 20 new
appointments to the partnership.

The two new partners of Ashurst Australia, and their areas of
practice, are:
Rebecca Field, Projects, Perth
Rebecca
joined the firm in Perth in September 2002 and became a senior
associate in July 2004. Rebecca's expertise in property and
property infrastructure work is unique in the Perth market and will
assist the firm capture and grow opportunities in the energy and
resources sector.
Alice Muhlebach, Competition, Melbourne
Alice
joined the firm as an articled clerk in the firm's Melbourne office
in March 2005 and became a senior associate in July 2009.
Alice has particular expertise in infrastructure access and in
complex merger clearances. She is expected to play an important
role in the development of relationships with key Ashurst clients.
