Ashurst Tokyo opened in 1990 and now practises law in Japan through
Ashurst Horitsu Jimusho Gaikokuho Kyodo Jigyo which is a
separate entity associated with Ashurst LLP. Our Tokyo office has
built up a high profile to become one of the leading international
law firms in Japan.
Ashurst Tokyo provides our clients with both Japanese and English
law capability, further strengthening our practice in both the
domestic and international markets. The Tokyo office works
particularly closely with Ashurst's other offices in Asia and the
Middle East to provide premium legal advice to our clients across
the region.
The office currently comprises some 30 legal
professionals, including seven partners and six
