Ashurst Washington DC opened in March 2009 with a team of lawyers
providing structured finance and corporate finance advice. Scott Faga is head of the
Washington DC office.
The office advises on a wide variety of structured products and
banking instruments including credit, equity and other derivatives,
distressed debt, municipal bonds (including gas prepay
transactions), tender option bond programs, liquidity facilities
and credit enhancement, structured lending, syndicated and
bilateral loan facilities, guarantees, letters of credit, funds,
CLOs/CDOs, general US securities advice, tax issues and
ERISA.
In addition the office advises on a wide variety of lending
transactions (including acquisition, senior syndicated, mezzanine,
asset-based financings and repo financings) and corporate finance
transactions (involving both equity and debt).
