professionals in Italy. The Italian team comprises lawyers and tax
advisers who qualified in Italy, UK, Spain and in the USA. Ashurst
Italy which opened in 2000 in Milan as a separate entity
affiliated with Ashurst LLP (Studio Legale associato ad Ashurst
LLP) opened its Rome office in 2011. The Italian team is also able
to draw on the resources of the firm's Italian desk in London which
includes three partners specialising in corporate, banking and
finance and structured finance.
Domenico Gullo is the
managing partner of the Rome office. Franco Vigliano is head of
Ashurst's Italian practice and he is based in Milan.
The Italian team includes multinational companies, industrial
groups, banks and financial institutions, insurance companies,
institutional investors, private equity funds as well as property
and investment funds. The team regularly provides advise to
government bodies, public companies and sovereign wealth funds in
the context of multi-jurisdictional transactions and it's able to
