of our Brisbane office. Ian specialises in employment, energy and resources, occupational health and safety, workplace relations and workplace training.
Ian is a specialist in the mining and resources sector. He is
the primary adviser on complex industrial disputes, workplace
change initiatives and other workplace incidents for clients such
as BHP Billiton, Xstrata and Virgin Blue Airlines - Chambers
Global, 2011.

Ian obtained a stellar result for BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance
in the landmark Goonyella Riverside Mine case, the prosecutor

Ian is the team leader of the firm's employment law practice in
Queensland. He provides a full range of industrial relations
and employment law services to clients including many of
Australia's largest corporations, employer associations and
government entities. This includes the provision of high
level strategic advice and the conduct of major litigation.
